About

Maureen O’Connell, LCMHC

Psychotherapist

My love for helping others starts back in seventh grade when I first knew I would be a counselor someday. I have always loved listening to others and helping them out of darkness into light. I studied Psychology at Arizona State University and went on to pursue a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Institute for Psychological Sciences in Arlington, Virginia graduating in 2002. I have been working as a Psychotherapist since 2004 primarily in private practice and have extensive experience treating all mental health concerns and disorders. My experience working with others for over 15 years coupled with my experience as a mom of four enables me to help my patients better understand themselves and find peace and healing.

For more details about my work and philosophy of therapy please see this link.

“The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad,

 the desert shall blossom abundantly,

and rejoice with joy and singing.

The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it,

the majesty of Carmel and Sharon.

They shall see the glory of the Lord,

the majesty of our God.”

Isaiah 35:1-2
